What if I need to make changes or add or remove dependents off my plan? – Sidecar Health

If you need to make changes outside of the Open Enrollment Period, you can only do so if you or your dependent experience a Qualifying Life Event. Examples are Qualifying Life Event that allow midyear election changes are:

Loss of eligibility for other qualifying health coverage;
Change in number of Dependents (i.e., birth or adoption of a child, marriage, divorce);
Change in the primary place of living that impacts your eligibility for coverage
Other qualifying events as listed in your Summary Plan Description
